Golf in Sun City Center. Courses, Memberships, and Fees (2026)

By Dewey Kopenga and Travis Penny. updated July 2026

TL;DR

Four golf courses are open and playable in Sun City Center in 2026. At its peak the community had eight or more, but ClubLink closed several over the past 15 years. Only two courses take public daily fee play, Club Renaissance and Freedom Fairways. Caloosa is a member owned private club, and Scepter in Kings Point is members only.

The four open courses

  • β—†Club Renaissance. Semi private championship course, open to the public daily fee
  • β—†Scepter Golf Club. A 27 hole private course in Kings Point, members only
  • β—†Caloosa Golf and Country Club. Member owned private club with a four loop layout
  • β—†Freedom Fairways. The community's only executive course, open to the public

Which courses are public

Only two courses take public daily fee play, Club Renaissance and Freedom Fairways. Caloosa is a member owned private club that requires a membership, and Scepter in Kings Point is members only. Prospective buyers can often play the private courses as the guest of a member.

Courses that have closed

The community once had eight or more courses. Falcon Watch, Sandpiper, Kings Point Executive, Caloosa Greens, and North Lakes have all closed over the years. Do not plan a move around a course that is no longer playing.
